Мова 404 : Беларуская мова ў Беларусі
Die Sammlung „Мова 404“ enthält mehr als hundert persönliche Berichte von Menschen in Belarus, die Belarusisch sprechen und aufgrund ihrer Sprache Diskriminierung erfahren haben – sei es Ablehnung, Herabsetzung oder sogar Gewalt. Die Autorin, Аліна Нагорная, möchte mit diesen Geschichten die Ausmaße der Benachteiligung sichtbar machen und darauf aufmerksam machen, wie sehr die belarussische Sprache in Alltag und Institutionen marginalisiert ist.
The collection ‘Мова 404’ contains more than a hundred personal accounts from people in Belarus who speak Belarusian and have experienced discrimination because of their language – whether rejection, belittlement or even violence. With these stories, the author, Аліна Нагорная, wants to highlight the extent of the discrimination and draw attention to how marginalised the Belarusian language is in everyday life and institutions.
