Agitprop in der Sowjetunion : die Abteilung für Agitation und Propaganda 1920 - 1928
Die Abteilung für Agitation und Propaganda des Zentralkomitees der Kommunistischen Partei der Sowjetunion war eine Institution, deren Einfluß auf das kulturelle Bewußtsein der sowjetischen und russischen Gesellschaft des zwanzigsten Jahrhunderts kaum zu überschätzen ist. Ingo Grabowsky zeichnet die strukturelle Entwicklung des Agitprop nach und analysiert seine Funktion im sowjetischen Machtgefüge. Dabei rekonstruiert er zum einen die ideologische Politik der Abteilung innerhalb der Partei. Zum anderen setzt er sich auf der Grundlage zahlreicher, bislang unveröffentlichter Archivdokumente mit der Literaturpolitik des Agitprop auseinander.
The Department of Agitation and Propaganda of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union was an institution whose influence on the cultural consciousness of Soviet and Russian society in the 20th century can hardly be overestimated. Ingo Grabowsky traces the structural development of agitprop and analyzes its function in the Soviet power structure. On the one hand, he reconstructs the ideological policy of the department within the party. On the other hand, he examines the literary policy of agitprop on the basis of numerous previously unpublished archive documents.
